And So it Was

Bored with the world and bored with each other God and the Devil made a new world. But it was a boring world. One day Eve came. Get me some magazines she said to God. Get me some catalogues, she said to the Devil. They were angry but said nothing. Who was this woman? Where did she come from? Each month when Eve got her magazines and catalogues she put God and the Devil to work. They were grumpy but did as they were told. God would plant some forests. The devil would climb a big ladder and push bits of shiny stones into the night sky.
